About the Role
The Flight Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers onboard SkyWest aircraft. Key duties include preparing and serving in-flight meals and beverages, assisting passengers with baggage, making announcements, and providing leadership and assistance during emergency and non-emergency situations. This role requires efficiently managing passenger situations and ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and operational procedures.
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Hold a current, valid U.S. or foreign passport book valid for at least 12 months following the application date, along with any necessary visas for travel between the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas.

Excellent English communication skills are essential for providing safety information and writing detailed reports.

Comfortable utilizing basic functions of electronic devices and PEDs for in-flight systems and duties.

Willingness to work varied shifts up to 16 hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to travel frequently and spend extended periods alone and without supervision.

Must be reliable and punctual.

Willingness to relocate to an assigned crew domicile after successful completion of training.
Physical and Appearance Requirements

Height must be between 5'0" and 6'0" without shoes.

Must be physically capable of performing tasks such as frequent walking, bending, reaching, opening emergency exits, closing aircraft doors (up to 45 lbs), pushing beverage carts (up to 250 lbs), and lifting items.

Corrected vision should not exceed 20/40.

Normal or corrected hearing range within 15-17kHZ.

Professional, neat, and clean overall appearance is required.
