About the Role
As a SkyWest Flight Attendant, you will uphold our high standards for operational safety and customer experience. Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight.

Managing comprehensive in-flight services: preparing, serving, restocking meals/beverages, and handling onboard sales.

Greeting passengers, assisting with carry-on baggage, and delivering all necessary onboard announcements.

Providing leadership and assistance in all situations, from routine passenger care to emergency responses and conflict resolution.

Strictly adhering to safety regulations, including inspecting and operating aircraft cabin components, systems, and emergency equipment such as escape slides, fire extinguishers, portable oxygen bottles, and AEDs.

Operating autonomously while maintaining high performance standards.
Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid U.S. or foreign passport book (valid for ≥12 months post-application) and necessary visas for travel between US, Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas.

Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for safety information and detailed report generation.

Proficiency in basic electronic device and PED usage for audio/video systems, purchases, and operational duties.

Flexibility to work varied shifts up to 16 hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to travel frequently and work independently for extended periods.

Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.

Willingness to relocate post-training to an assigned crew domicile from: Atlanta, Austin, Boise, Chicago, Colorado Springs, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Detroit, Fresno, Houston, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Palm Springs, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Tucson.
Physical Requirements and Professional Standards

Height requirement: 5’0” to 6’0” without shoes, ensuring safe operation within aircraft dimensions (e.g., jump seat, aisle movement, emergency exit operation).

Physical capability: frequent walking, bending, reaching; opening exits/closing doors (up to 45 lbs); pushing/pulling beverage carts (up to 250 lbs); and lifting/storing items.

Vision: Corrected vision not exceeding 20/40.

Hearing: Normal or corrected hearing range within 15-17kHZ.

Professional appearance: neat, clean; no extreme hair styles or colors.

Piercings: Single stud nose piercing (max 2mm); two ear piercings per ear; gauges plugged (clear/skin-toned, max ½”). Other facial, mouth, or tongue piercings prohibited.

Tattoos: Visible tattoos permitted within dimension/location limits; otherwise, covered by uniform or skin-tone makeup (bandages not approved). Offensive tattoos must not be visible.

Uniform: Must wear company-issued uniform and compliant face mask/covering.
