Calmly resolve passenger situations, including medical emergencies and disorderly conduct.

Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations by inspecting and operating aircraft cabin components, systems, and emergency equipment (e.g., escape slides, fire extinguishers, portable oxygen bottles, AEDs).

Consistently adhere to established procedures and performance standards independently.
Requirements

Minimum age of 21 years.

High school diploma or equivalency required.

Possess a current, valid U.S. or foreign passport book, valid for a minimum of 12 months from the application date.

Hold any necessary visas for travel between the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas.

Excellent English communication skills are essential for safety information dissemination and detailed incident reporting.

Comfortable with basic electronic device operation for audio/video systems, in-flight purchases, and training duties.

Willingness to work varied shifts (up to 16 hours), including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to travel frequently and spend extended periods unsupervised.

Must be reliable and punctual.

Willingness to relocate to one of SkyWest's numerous U.S. crew domiciles following completion of InFlight Training.
Qualifications

Height between 5'0" and 6'0" (without shoes), with proportionate weight for safe aircraft operation (e.g., jump seat fit, cabin movement, emergency exits).

Physical capability for frequent walking, bending, reaching; able to open/close aircraft doors (up to 45 lbs) and push/pull beverage carts (up to 250 lbs).

Ability to lift, store, transport, and reach for items, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Corrected vision not to exceed 20/40.

Normal or corrected hearing range within 15-17kHz.

Maintain a professional, neat, and clean appearance.
-
No extreme hair styles or colors.

Piercings restricted to single stud nose (max 2mm) and two per ear (gauges plugged, max ½"); no other facial, mouth, or tongue piercings.

Visible tattoos allowed within dimensional/location limits; otherwise, must be covered by uniform or skin-tone makeup (bandages not approved). Offensive tattoos strictly prohibited.
