The SkyWest Flight Attendant is responsible for the safety and comfort of passengers during flights. Key duties include serving meals and beverages, assisting passengers with baggage, making announcements, and providing leadership and assistance in both emergency and non-emergency situations. Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and comfort of customers onboard the aircraft.

Prepare, serve, and restock in-flight beverages, meals, and snacks, and conduct onboard sales.

Greet passengers, assist with baggage stowage, and deliver onboard announcements.

Provide effective leadership and assistance in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Resolve passenger situations calmly during flight.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations by inspecting and safely operating aircraft cabin components and emergency equipment.

Adhere to established procedures and performance standards without supervision.
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalency required.

Possession of a current, valid U.S. or foreign passport book, valid for at least 12 months following the application date, and any necessary visas for travel to the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas.

Excellent English communication skills for providing safety information and writing reports.

Comfortable utilizing basic functions of electronic devices and PEDs for various flight and training duties.

Willingness to work varied shifts up to 16 hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to travel frequently and spend lengthy periods away from home without supervision.

Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Willingness to relocate to an assigned crew domicile after successful completion of training.
Physical and Other Qualifications

Height and weight must permit safe operation of the aircraft, including sitting in a jump seat, fastening a harness, moving through the cabin, and operating emergency exits. Height range (without shoes) is typically 5'0" to 6'0".

Physically capable of performing tasks such as frequent walking, bending, reaching, opening emergency exits, closing aircraft doors (up to 45 lbs), and pushing beverage carts (up to 250 lbs).

Corrected vision should not exceed 20/40.

Normal or corrected hearing range within 15-17kHZ.

Professional, neat, and clean overall appearance, adhering to specific appearance guidelines including hair styles, colors, and piercings. Visible tattoos are permitted with limitations and may require covering.

Willingness to wear a company-issued uniform and compliant face mask/covering.
