About the Role
The primary responsibility of a SkyWest Flight Attendant is to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers onboard the aircraft. This dynamic position involves providing excellent customer service, serving meals and beverages, and effectively managing both emergency and non-emergency situations. Flight Attendants will greet passengers, assist with baggage, deliver announcements, and maintain compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities

Prepare, serve, and restock in-flight beverages, meals, and snacks.

Greet passengers, assist with carry-on baggage, and make onboard announcements.

Provide leadership and assistance in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Calmly resolve passenger issues, including disorderly conduct and medical emergencies.

Inspect and safely operate aircraft cabin components, systems, and emergency equipment.

Adhere to established procedures and performance standards without supervision.
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalency required.

Possession of a current, valid U.S. or foreign passport book, valid for at least 12 months following the application date, along with any necessary visas for travel to the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas.

Excellent English communication skills for providing safety information and writing reports.

Comfortable utilizing basic functions of electronic devices and PEDs for operational duties.

Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, up to 16 hours per day.

Ability to travel frequently and spend extended periods alone and without supervision.

Must be reliable and punctual.

Willingness to relocate to an assigned crew domicile after successful completion of training.
Physical and Appearance Standards

Height between 5'0" and 6'0" without shoes.

Weight must allow for safe operation of the aircraft and fitting into aircraft dimensions (e.g., jump seat, harness, aisle movement, emergency exits).

Physically capable of frequent walking, bending, reaching, opening emergency exits, closing aircraft doors (up to 45 lbs), pushing beverage carts (up to 250 lbs), and lifting/transporting items.

Corrected vision not exceeding 20/40.

Normal or corrected hearing range within 15-17kHz.

Professional, neat, and clean overall appearance.

No extreme hair styles or colors.
