The Flight Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers during flights. Responsibilities include preparing and serving in-flight amenities, assisting passengers, managing emergency situations, and maintaining a positive environment. • Ensure passenger safety and comfort onboard aircraft.
• Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
• Prepare, serve, and restock beverages, meals, and snacks, and conduct onboard sales.
• Greet passengers, assist with baggage, and make announcements.
• Provide leadership and assistance in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Resolve passenger issues calmly and effectively.
• Inspect and operate aircraft cabin components and emergency equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Adhere to established procedures and performance standards independently.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid U.S. or foreign passport book with at least 12 months of validity remaining from the application date, along with any necessary visas for travel between the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas.
• Excellent English communication skills for safety information and report writing.
• Proficiency in using electronic devices and PEDs for onboard systems and sales.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, up to 16 hours per day.
• Ability to travel frequently and spend extended periods away from home without supervision.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Willingness to relocate to an assigned crew domicile after successful completion of training.

Physical and Appearance Standards

• Height and weight must be suitable for safe aircraft operation, including fitting into a jump seat with a harness, moving through the cabin aisle, and operating emergency exits.
• Height must be between 5'0" and 6'0" without shoes.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as frequent walking, bending, reaching, opening emergency exits, closing aircraft doors (up to 45 pounds), pushing beverage carts (up to 250 pounds), and lifting/transporting items.
• Corrected vision not to exceed 20/40.
• Normal or corrected hearing range within 15-17kHz.
• Professional, neat, and clean overall appearance.
• No extreme hairstyles or colors.
• Specific regulations regarding piercings and tattoos apply; visible tattoos must comply with size and location guidelines or be covered.
• Must wear a company-issued uniform and compliant face mask/covering as required.
