About the Role

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flight operations safely and efficiently.

Collaborate with the PIC and/or passenger service personnel to ensure prompt aircraft departures.

Provide support to or relieve the PIC in the manipulation of aircraft flight controls, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing.

Demonstrate flexibility and availability to work assigned schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on pilot bidding seniority.
Qualifications

Minimum age of 21 years.

Possession of a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on the Airman Certificate.

A current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Eligibility to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizen or proof of right to work).

Hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

A current Passport or other valid travel documents enabling free exit and re-entry to the U.S. (multiple re-entry status) and legal employment in the U.S.

Availability to work any day, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be within three months of meeting the minimum flight hour requirements as detailed under FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

SkyWest Airlines provides the means to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP (Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program) course for candidates who successfully complete the application and pilot interview process.

SkyWest accepts helicopter or glider time towards an applicant's total time, provided they possess a minimum of 250 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours in fixed-wing aircraft.
