SkyWest Airlines is seeking highly qualified and motivated Pilots (First Officers) to join its team across various U.S. domiciles. This pivotal role involves assisting the Pilot-in-Command in all aspects of safe and efficient flight operations, supporting ground duties, and actively participating in the manipulation of aircraft flight controls from taxiing to landing.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting the flight safely and efficiently.
- Support the PIC and/or passenger service personnel as needed to ensure a prompt departure.
- Assist or relieve the PIC in the manipulation of the flight controls of an aircraft while underway, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing of such aircraft.
Work Environment
- Ability to work any day, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on pilot bidding seniority.

Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or able to show proof of right to work in the U.S.
- Hold a current Passport or other travel documents enabling the bearer to freely exit and re-enter the U.S. (multiple re-entry status) and be legally eligible to work in the U.S. (possess proper working documents).
- Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit.
Qualifications
- Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
- Possess an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.
- Be within three months of meeting the aeronautical experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.
- Pilot applicants who successfully complete an application and pass the pilot interview will be provided with a SkyWest-approved CTP (Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program) course to complete the ATP Written requirement.
- SkyWest Airlines recognizes helicopter and glider flying skills; applicants may include helicopter or glider time as part of their total flight hours, provided they have a minimum of 250 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours in fixed-wing aircraft.
