SkyWest Airlines is seeking qualified pilot candidates for First Officer positions across various domiciles. This role involves assisting the Pilot-in-Command in the safe and efficient operation of flights, ensuring prompt departures, and potentially manipulating flight controls.
Requirements

Minimum age of 21 years.

Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.

Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

U.S. citizenship or proof of the right to work in the U.S.

FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Current Passport or other travel documents enabling unrestricted U.S. re-entry.

Eligibility to work in the U.S. (possess proper working documents).

Availability to work any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Within three months of meeting minimum hour requirements for employment.

Applicants must meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.
Qualifications

SkyWest Airlines will provide the means to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP course for candidates who successfully pass the pilot interview.

SkyWest will accept helicopter or glider time as part of an applicant's total time, provided a minimum of 250 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours of fixed-wing time is held.
About the Role

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting the flight safely and efficiently.

Assist the PIC and/or passenger service personnel as needed to ensure a prompt departure.

Assist or relieve the PIC in manipulation of the flight controls of an aircraft while underway, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing.

Willingness to fly an assigned schedule based on pilot bidding seniority, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
