About the Role
SkyWest Airlines is seeking qualified pilots to join their team as First Officers. This role involves assisting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flights safely and efficiently, ensuring prompt departures, and manipulating flight controls during all phases of flight. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and is based out of numerous domiciles across the United States, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Requirements

Minimum age of 21 years.

Possession of a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.

Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Authorization to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizenship or proof of right to work).

FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Current Passport or other travel documents enabling re-entry into the U.S.

Availability to work any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be within three months of meeting minimum hour requirements.

Pilot applicants must meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.
Qualifications

While the ATP Written is required, SkyWest will provide the means to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP course for qualified applicants who successfully pass the pilot interview.

SkyWest accepts helicopter or glider time as part of total flight time, provided the applicant has a minimum of 250 PIC hours of fixed-wing time.
