About the Role

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flights safely and efficiently.

Collaborate with the PIC and/or passenger service personnel as needed to ensure a prompt departure.

Assist or relieve the PIC in manipulation of aircraft flight controls during all phases of flight, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing.

Be available to work on any day of the week, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Willingness to fly assigned schedules based on pilot bidding seniority.
Qualifications

Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

Possess an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on their Airman Certificate.

Hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

Possess an ATP Written Requirement; SkyWest Airlines will provide the means to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP course for those who successfully pass the pilot interview.

Be within three months of meeting minimum hour requirements.

**Regarding Helicopter or Glider Time:** SkyWest Airlines recognizes the skills common to helicopter and glider flying. Applicants may include helo/glider time as part of their total time, provided they have a minimum of 250 PIC hours of fixed-wing flight experience.

Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Hold a current Passport or other travel documents enabling the bearer to freely exit and re-enter the U.S. (multiple re-entry status) and be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
