SkyWest Airlines is seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals to join its team as a Pilot. This vital role supports flight operations across numerous US bases, including major hubs in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington. About the Role

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of all flights.

Collaborate with the PIC and/or passenger service personnel to facilitate prompt and on-schedule departures.

Provide assistance to, or relieve, the PIC in the manipulation of aircraft flight controls, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing procedures.

Be prepared to fly assigned schedules based on pilot bidding seniority, which includes working days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.

Legally authorized to work in the U.S., either as a U.S. citizen or holding appropriate work documentation.

Possess a current Passport or alternative travel documents permitting free exit and re-entry into the U.S. (multiple re-entry status).

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including any day of the week, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be within three months of meeting the minimum flight hour requirements detailed below.
Qualifications

Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

Possess an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on the Airman Certificate.

Maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

For pilot applicants counting helicopter or glider time: a minimum of 250 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours in fixed-wing aircraft is required.

SkyWest provides the means to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP (Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program) course for those who successfully complete the application and pilot interview process, fulfilling the ATP Written Requirement.
