SkyWest Airlines is actively seeking highly skilled and motivated First Officers (FO) to join its expanding team. This pivotal pilot role involves supporting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the safe and efficient operation of flights across various U.S. domiciles.
Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S., possessing proper working documents.

A current Passport or other valid travel documents enabling multiple re-entry into the U.S. is required.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on pilot bidding seniority.

Applicants should be within three months of meeting the minimum flight hour requirements at the time of application.
Qualifications

Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

Possess an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on their Airman Certificate.

Maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Must meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

For pilot applicants with helicopter or glider flight time, a minimum of 250 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) fixed-wing hours is required for this time to be accepted towards total flight time.

SkyWest will facilitate a SkyWest-approved CTP course for candidates who successfully complete the application and interview process and meet the ATP Written Requirement.
About the Role
The primary duties of a First Officer include:

Assisting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flights safely and efficiently.

Supporting the PIC and/or passenger service personnel as needed to ensure prompt departures.

Assisting or relieving the PIC in the manipulation of aircraft flight controls during all phases of flight, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing.
