Professional Pilot Opportunities
SkyWest Airlines is currently seeking qualified, motivated individuals to join our professional flight deck team. Successful candidates will support the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in ensuring safe, efficient flight operations and prompt departures, while maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.
Primary Job Responsibilities

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the safe and efficient execution of all flight phases.

Collaborate with the PIC and passenger service personnel to ensure on-time performance.

Operate aircraft flight controls as required, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing procedures under the direction of the PIC.
Candidate Qualifications
To be considered for a pilot position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Minimum age of 21 years.

Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

Maintain an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on their Airman Certificate.

Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Possess a valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Hold a current Passport or alternative travel documentation enabling legal entry and exit from the U.S.
-
U.S. citizenship or verified legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Candidates must be within three months of meeting minimum flight hour requirements.

Must meet the experience requirements stipulated by FAR 61.159 prior to the commencement of employment.

Applicants with helicopter or glider experience are eligible, provided they possess a minimum of 250 hours of fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
Training and Scheduling

ATP Requirement:
Qualified applicants who pass the interview process will be provided with access to a SkyWest-approved Certification Training Program (CTP) course.

Availability:
Pilots must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, determined by pilot bidding seniority.
