Professional Pilot Position Overview
SkyWest Airlines is seeking dedicated and qualified professionals to join our flight operations team. Pilots are responsible for assisting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the safe and efficient conduct of flights, including the manipulation of flight controls during taxi, takeoff, landing, and en-route operations. Successful candidates will also assist the PIC and ground personnel to ensure prompt and efficient departures.
Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

Maintain an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on the Airman Certificate.

Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Possess an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Hold a current passport or travel documentation allowing for legal exit and re-entry into the U.S.

Must be a U.S. citizen or hold valid, documented authorization to work in the United States.

Applicants must be within three months of meeting minimum hour requirements.

Must meet all experience requirements stipulated by FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

For applicants counting helicopter or glider time, a minimum of 250 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours of fixed-wing flight time is required.
ATP Written and CTP Training
SkyWest provides the opportunity for applicants who successfully pass the interview process to complete a SkyWest-approved Certification Training Program (CTP) course.
Operational Requirements
Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Schedules are assigned based on pilot bidding seniority.
