Professional Pilot Opportunity

SkyWest Airlines is seeking qualified candidates for Pilot positions. This role is responsible for assisting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flight operations safely and efficiently, including support with flight control manipulation, taxiing, takeoff, and landing procedures. Successful candidates will also assist the PIC and ground personnel in ensuring prompt aircraft departures.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Current Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
  • English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.
  • Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Current FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
  • Current Passport or travel documents enabling the holder to freely exit and re-enter the U.S.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or possess documentation verifying legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Must be within three months of meeting minimum hour requirements.
  • Must meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

Flight Hour & Certification Policies

Applicants must satisfy the ATP written requirement; SkyWest provides a company-approved CTP course for those who successfully complete the application and interview process. SkyWest accepts helicopter and glider time as part of an applicant's total time, provided the candidate maintains a minimum of 250 PIC hours in fixed-wing aircraft.

Operational Expectations

Selected pilots must be available to work any day, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Schedules are subject to pilot bidding seniority.
