Professional Pilot Opportunity
SkyWest Airlines is seeking qualified candidates for Pilot positions. Successful applicants will assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft, including participation in flight control manipulation, taxiing, takeoff, and landing procedures, while supporting passenger service personnel to maintain schedule integrity.
Candidate Requirements

Minimum age of 21 years.

Current FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.

Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Current Passport or travel documentation allowing for unrestricted exit and re-entry to the U.S.

U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States.

Compliance with FAR 61.159 experience requirements prior to employment.

Must be within three months of meeting minimum flight hour requirements at the time of application.

Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, subject to pilot bidding seniority.
Flight Experience Specifications
SkyWest Airlines acknowledges transferable skills from helicopter and glider operations. Helicopter or glider flight time is accepted toward total time requirements, provided the applicant possesses a minimum of 250 hours of fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time. SkyWest provides access to a company-approved CTP course for applicants who successfully complete the interview process.
