Professional Pilot Opportunities
SkyWest Airlines is seeking qualified, safety-oriented individuals to join our professional pilot team. This role requires a commitment to operational excellence and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced aviation environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flight operations safely and efficiently.

Collaborate with the PIC and passenger service personnel to ensure timely aircraft departures.

Support or relieve the PIC in the manipulation of flight controls during all phases of flight, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing.
Candidate Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

Possess an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on the Airman Certificate.

Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Possess an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Maintain a current passport or equivalent travel documentation enabling free entry and exit from the U.S.

Must be a U.S. citizen or hold valid documentation proving the legal right to work in the United States.

Must be within three months of meeting minimum flight hour requirements.

Applicants must meet the experience requirements stipulated in FAR 61.159 prior to the commencement of employment.

Candidates utilizing helicopter or glider flight time must possess a minimum of 250 hours of fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.

Successful applicants will be provided with the means to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP course.
Operational Expectations
Pilots must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on pilot bidding seniority.
