SkyWest Airlines is currently seeking qualified candidates for pilot positions. Successful applicants will assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in ensuring the safe, efficient operation of aircraft, including manipulation of flight controls, taxiing, takeoff, and landing procedures. Pilots also assist the PIC and passenger service personnel to ensure timely flight departures.
SkyWest recognizes the skills associated with helicopter and glider flying. Helicopter or glider time is accepted as part of an applicant's total time, provided they have a minimum of 250 PIC hours of fixed-wing flight experience. For those who complete an application and successfully pass the interview, SkyWest provides the means to complete a company-approved CTP course to satisfy ATP written requirements.
Selected pilots must be available to work any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Schedules are assigned based on pilot bidding seniority.
