Professional Pilot Opportunity

SkyWest Airlines is currently seeking qualified candidates for Pilot positions. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and professional excellence in the aviation industry.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flights safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the PIC and passenger service personnel to ensure prompt departures.
  • Support or relieve the PIC in the manipulation of flight controls, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing procedures.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
  • Possess an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on their Airman Certificate.
  • Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Possess an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
  • Maintain a current passport or travel documents enabling legal re-entry into the U.S.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or possess proper authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.
  • Applicants must be within three months of the minimum hour requirements.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Helicopter and Glider Experience

SkyWest Airlines recognizes helicopter and glider flight experience. Such flight time is accepted toward an applicant’s total time, provided the candidate has a minimum of 250 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours in fixed-wing aircraft.

ATP Written Requirement

For candidates who successfully complete the interview process, SkyWest provides access to a company-approved CTP course.
