Pilot

SkyWest Airlines is seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals to join its professional piloting team. As a pilot, the individual is essential to the airline's operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of passengers and cargo while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

The Pilot is responsible for assisting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting the flight safely and efficiently, including assisting with passenger service coordination for prompt departures. The role also involves assisting or relieving the PIC in the manipulation of aircraft flight controls during all phases of flight, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing.

Experience & Training Requirements:

Pilot applicants are required to meet the experience requirements stipulated by FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

SkyWest Airlines recognizes the skills acquired through diverse flight experience. Helicopter and glider time will be accepted as part of an applicant’s total flight time, provided the applicant has a minimum of 250 fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command hours.

SkyWest will facilitate the completion of a company-approved CTP course for those applicants who successfully complete the application process and pass the pilot interview.
