SkyWest Charter: First Officer
SkyWest Charter (SWC) is seeking an experienced and capable aviation professional to join our team as a First Officer. This dynamic career opportunity requires a service-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to safety. The First Officer plays a critical role in assisting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) to ensure safe and efficient flight operations while providing exceptional customer service.
Primary Job Duties:
- Assists the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.
- Supports the PIC and/or passenger service personnel as needed to ensure a prompt departure.
- Assists or relieves the PIC in the manipulation of aircraft flight controls while underway, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing.
- Provides exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest level of safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this pilot position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Holds or is eligible for an unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Airman Certificate includes an English Proficient endorsement.
- Holds a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Is a U.S. citizen or legally eligible to work in the U.S. (possesses proper working documents).
- Holds an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
- Possesses a current passport or other travel documents enabling free exit and re-entry to the U.S. (multiple reentry status).
- Holds a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Demonstrates customer service orientation, high integrity, a positive attitude, and polished, professional interpersonal skills.
- Is available to work any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
