First Officer Pilot
SkyWest Airlines is seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals to join our team as First Officer Pilots. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our fleet, while navigating the skies across diverse and exciting destinations.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting the flight safely and efficiently.
- Contribute to a prompt departure by assisting the PIC and/or passenger service personnel as needed.
- Assist or relieve the PIC in manipulating the flight controls of the aircraft during taxiing, takeoff, and landing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
- Possess an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.
- Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Be a U.S. citizen or able to show proof of right to work in the U.S.
- Hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit.
- Possess a current Passport (or other travel documents enabling the bearer to freely exit and re-enter the U.S. with multiple reentry status) and be legally eligible to work in the U.S. (possess proper working documents).
- Be available to work on any day, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Be within three months of the minimum hour requirements outlined below.
ATP Written Requirement:
SkyWest Airlines will provide the resources to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP course for qualified applicants who successfully pass the pilot interview.
Minimum Hour Requirements:
Pilot applicants must meet the experience requirements outlined in FAR 61.159 prior to employment.
Helicopter and Glider Time:
SkyWest recognizes the transferable skills acquired through helicopter and glider flying. Applicants with a minimum of 250 PIC hours of fixed wing experience can include helicopter/glider time towards their total hours.
Physical and Other Requirements:
- Must have a First Class Medical Certificate.
- Must be willing to fly assigned schedules based on pilot bidding seniority, which may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
