Your Journey Begins:
The Entry Level Pilot program starts with operational roles as Operations Coordinator or Aircraft Groomer, providing invaluable experience and a solid foundation for your future as a pilot.
Operations Coordinator:
- Provide integral support to the SOCC Coordinator and Flight Follower roles.
- Execute exceptional customer service duties, including quoting, greeting visitors, and ensuring timely and organized flights.
- Handle various tasks such as filing Customs documents, receiving/loading cargo, and updating flight information using company software.
- Assume responsibility for Flight Following, flight coordination, and delivery, addressing customer requests with professionalism.
Aircraft Groomer:
- Maintain a pristine environment for our aircraft, hangars, offices, vehicles, and facilities.
- Thoroughly groom and detail company aircraft.
- Ensure daily cleaning of hangars, offices, vehicles, and facilities.
- Efficiently load and unload cargo and baggage.
- Fuel aircraft and ground equipment.
- Operate aircraft ground equipment and tow aircraft as needed.
- Provide assistance in maintaining the commissary and delivering exceptional customer service.
Your Path to Success:
The program provides a clear pathway:
- Support Position: Entry-level pilot with 250 hours.
- Navajo First Officer: Possessing 500+ hours.
- Metro First Officer: Possessing 500+ hours.
- Navajo Captain: Possessing 1200+ hours.
- Metro Captain: Possessing 2000+ hours.
Essential Qualifications:
- Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License.
- Transport Canada Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR.
- Valid Class 1 Medical.
- Minimum 500 hours total time.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (within the last 30 days).
Location and Travel:
- Training Base: Sioux Lookout, Ontario.
- Occasional travel to other base locations in St. Andrews, Manitoba, Kitchener, and Thunder Bay, Ontario.
