Medevac Captain
SkyCare is seeking a dedicated Medevac Captain to join our team. In this role, the successful candidate will operate the SW4 Metroliner, supporting Northern communities through critical care, time-sensitive cargo, and specialized charter operations. This position entails full responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the aircraft, crew, and mission.
Location
The primary base of operation is located in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, with additional operational bases in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Pilot assignments are determined by operational requirements and may involve rotation across the company network.
Qualifications and Requirements

Transport Canada (TC) Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) – Fixed Wing.

Multi-instrument Flight Rating.

Valid Category 1 Aviation Medical.

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.

Minimum of 2,000 hours Total Time.

Minimum of 500 hours Multi-Engine Pilot-in-Command (PIC).

Valid Driver’s Licence.

Restricted Radiotelephone Operator License.

Valid Canadian passport and/or the legal ability to work in Canada and travel to the USA.

Effective interpersonal skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills (English language proficiency required).

Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance (obtained within the last 30 days).
