Sky Alps | First Officer

SkyAlps seeks a highly skilled and motivated First Officer (FO) to join their team, operating the Dash Q400 aircraft on national and international routes. This role involves standard line flying duties as well as periodic responsibilities in training and checking.

About the Role

The First Officer will be an integral part of the flight operations team at SkyAlps, flying the Q400 aircraft. Responsibilities extend beyond routine flight operations to include contributing to the training and development of other pilots through periodic TRI duties. The position demands a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate the Dash Q400 aircraft in strict accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct periodic TRI (Type Rating Instructor) duties, encompassing training and checking of other pilots.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service.
• Maintain comprehensive and current knowledge of all relevant aviation regulations and procedures.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with the Captain and cabin crew to ensure a seamless and excellent service delivery.
• Respond to emergency situations with composure and utmost professionalism.
• Provide support in training and pilot development.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (EASA ATPL).
• A valid European passport.
• A minimum of 300 hours on Category (CAT) aircraft.
• Excellent command of the English language, meeting ICAO Level 4 proficiency or higher.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment and to make rapid, safe decisions.
• Flexibility and willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends.
