Job Overview

The Pilot in Command (PIC) position involves operating Citation Ultra/Encore aircraft as part of a two-pilot crew. This role serves a dedicated client base flying to popular destinations throughout the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Successful candidates will benefit from a collaborative environment that balances professional requirements with quality time at home.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Retain primary responsibility for all aspects of the flight, including the delegation of tasks to the Second-in-Command (SIC).
  • Review comprehensive weather data and flight planning information.
  • Ensure the aircraft is properly loaded within center of gravity and gross weight limitations.
  • Utilize Electronic Flight Bags and digital flight planning software effectively.
  • Perform physical aircraft inspections and verify airworthiness via the aircraft Status Sheet.
  • Monitor flight and duty time to ensure strict adherence to CFR § 135 regulations and the Silverhawk Aviation Operations Manual.

Requirements

  • CE-500 Type Rating.
  • 2,500 hours of total flight time.
  • 500 hours of multi-engine time.
  • Multi-engine Commercial certificate (ATP preferred).
  • Valid passport.
  • 90-day currency.
  • Clean FAA record.
  • Must be located within a two-hour drive of the Lincoln Airport (Lincoln, NE).
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
