Pilots typically fly 15-17 days per month, primarily weekdays, within Nebraska and Kansas, ensuring nightly returns home.
Responsibilities:
The King Air Pilot in Command will be responsible for all aspects of flight operations, including but not limited to:
- Complete pre-flight planning, including weather analysis and route optimization utilizing electronic flight bags and digital planning software.
- Ensuring aircraft weight and balance compliance.
- Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections to verify airworthiness, referencing the aircraft Status Sheet.
- Maintaining meticulous flight and duty time records in accordance with CFR §135 regulations and the Silverhawk Aviation Operations Manual.
- Delegation of tasks to the Second-in-Command (SIC) while retaining ultimate responsibility for the flight’s safety and successful completion.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1500 hours total flight time.
- 50 hours multi-engine flight time.
- Commercial Multi-engine rating (ATP preferred; Silverhawk Aviation will assist with ATP certification if needed).
- Valid passport.
- Current medical certificate (90-day currency).
- Clean FAA record.
- Must reside, or be willing to relocate within one hour of Lincoln, Nebraska (KLNK).
