Silver Airways seeks a highly motivated and qualified individual to join their team as a First Officer. This position offers a competitive first year hourly rate of $64.40, along with excellent quality of life that includes minimal overnights. The role also presents multiple career advancement opportunities and maximum earning potential. Furthermore, the position includes a per diem of $2.15 per hour, a minimum daily rate equivalent to 4 credit hours, and a minimum monthly guarantee of 75 credit hours. Compensation also encompasses 100% deadhead pay, a 401(k) with company match, and holiday pay at a 150% multiplier.
Minimum requirements for this role include a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-engine Land and Instrument Ratings, ATP/R-ATP minimum flight times, a current First Class Medical Certificate, an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operators Permit, legal eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship, and a valid, unexpired passport. Preferred qualifications include an ATP Multi-engine Land Certificate and a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in an Aviation, Aerospace, or Aeronautics related field.
Please note that new rates are effective as of January 1, 2024, based on the Letter of Agreement (LOA) signed between Silver Airways and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters on December 28, 2023. While some incentives in the LOA are subject to further negotiations, the pay scale is considered ratified until the expiration of the current collective bargaining agreement on October 1, 2025.
