Silver Air Private Jets is seeking an experienced Captain to operate a Gulfstream G550, with an upcoming upgrade to a G650, based in an unspecified location. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft for clients during the interim period and beyond.
About the Role
The G650 & G550 Captain is responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft, ensuring all flights meet the highest standards of safety and client satisfaction. This position involves meticulous flight planning, aircraft readiness checks, and adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft to ensure airworthiness.

Conducting proper pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.

Completing checks of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and airports to be used, including alternate airports.

Ensuring flights are conducted in accordance with Silver Air policies and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.

Ensuring the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.

Accurately completing all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
Requirements

Total time in all aircraft: 3500 hours, with at least 3000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).

Multi-engine time: 3000 hours, with at least 2000 hours as PIC.

Total Turbine time: 1750 hours (preferred).

Total time in airplane type (GV/GVI): 200 hours, with at least 100 hours as PIC.

Type rating on GV and GVI, or comparable aircraft.

Valid First Class Medical Certificate.

Previous Part 135 experience (preferred).

Compliant with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.1.0. as it pertains to aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.

CANPASS authorization: Ability to obtain and maintain for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.
