Silver Air Private Jets seeks an experienced Captain to pilot a Gulfstream G550, with an impending upgrade to a G650, operating out of an unspecified location. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft while clients explore new aircraft options.
About the Role
The G650 & G550 Captain will be primarily responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft, ensuring all flights are conducted in a safe and prudent manner, meeting the travel needs of clients with a commitment to excellence. Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing aircraft maintenance status to ensure airworthiness.

Conducting pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.

Completing weather and route assessments, including alternate airports.

Ensuring flight adherence to Silver Air policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.

Prioritizing the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.

Accurately completing all trip paperwork.
Requirements

3500 total hours in all aircraft, with 3000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).

3000 multi-engine hours, with 2000 hours as PIC.

Type rating on GV and GVI or comparable aircraft.

Valid First Class Medical Certificate.

Compliance with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.1.0 for aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.

Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.

Strong customer service and excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a high level of professionalism.

High level of organization, ability to thrive in changing environments, and flexibility with changing priorities.

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work on-call, under pressure, and multi-task. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

1750 total turbine hours preferred.

200 total hours in airplane type, with 100 hours as PIC.

Previous Part 135 experience preferred.
