Gulfstream GIV Captain - Teterboro

Silver Air seeks an experienced Captain to safely operate the Gulfstream GIV aircraft from its Teterboro base. This role is responsible for all aspects of flight operations, including ensuring aircraft airworthiness, pre-flight checks, route planning, passenger and crew safety, regulatory compliance, meticulous trip documentation, and providing professional client service. The Captain must be adaptable to a 24/7 on-call environment with dynamic priorities.

About the Role

• Conduct safe and compliant operations of the Gulfstream GIV.
• Perform aircraft airworthiness checks and pre-flight inspections.
• Plan routes, airports, and consider weather conditions.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Maintain accurate trip documentation.
• Provide professional service to clients.
• Operate within a 24/7 on-call environment with evolving priorities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3,500 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 3,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
• Minimum 3,000 hours multi-engine time.
• Minimum 2,000 hours multi-engine PIC time.
• Minimum 200 hours in the GIV aircraft type.
• Minimum 100 hours PIC time in the GIV aircraft type.
• Preferred: 1,750 hours turbine time.
• Must hold a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• Must comply with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.1.0 for international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to and from Canada as a commercial pilot.
• Previous Part 135 experience is preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on-call, under pressure, and on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Type rating on the GIV or a comparable aircraft qualification is required.
