Flight Operations Professional
Sierra West Airlines seeks a highly motivated and skilled aviation professional to join its dynamic flight operations team. This individual will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to customer service excellence. Core Responsibilities:
- Engages in professional communication, both internally and externally, when managing complex aircraft-related matters.
- Maintains a consistently impeccable professional appearance, particularly during passenger flights.
- Delivers exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and seamless travel experience.
- Assists with various ground operations, including freight handling, aircraft cleaning, and inventory management.
- Operates aircraft with strict adherence to all relevant regulations, corporate policies, and procedures.
- Prioritizes the safety of all flight crew members and maintains a strong focus on exemplary customer interactions.
- Diligently identifies and reports aircraft deficiencies to maintenance personnel for immediate review and rectification.
- Conducts flights under varying conditions, including day, night, and inclement weather.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
- Possesses a current Airline Transport Pilot License (ATP).
- Holds a current Instrument Proficiency Check.
- Demonstrates proficiency in English.
- Is a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Maintains a valid First Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- Holds a valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Possesses a current passport.
- Is legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Demonstrates the physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and move freely around aircraft.
- Successfully completes all required pre-employment DOT drug screenings and background checks.
- Is able to obtain an airport SIDA badge.
- Must be willing and able to relocate to an assigned base and travel extensively.
- Is able to work varying shifts, overtime, and/or respond to after-hour callouts, as required.
Minimum Experience:
- Has accumulated a total of 1500 flight hours.
- Has a minimum of 500 hours of multi-engine flight experience.
- Holds a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATP)
- Is able to report for duty with a functional iPad.
- Holds a Learjet 60 type rating and has experience operating this aircraft.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in Part 135 operations is strongly preferred.
- Relocation to the assigned base is preferred, although a home-based arrangement may be considered.
