Position Summary

The Captain is responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which he/she is assigned while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local, and international regulations, as well as policies and procedures specified in the company operations manual. When assigned to a flight, the Captain has the final authority in the operation of the aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Direct control of $20m aircraft.
  • Supervises co-captain when serving as pilot-in-command.
  • Authorizes purchase of fuel and services for aircraft.
  • This position has frequent contact with top level executives both inside and outside the company, as well as board members and major customers. This position also has frequent contact with members of the aviation community (FBO’s, FAA, NBAA, etc.) which can be important in terms of the company image.

Position Requirements

Education

Required:

  • High School Graduation or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Four-year college degree.

Experience

Required:

  • ATP Certificate, multi-engine rating, minimum of 3,000 Hours Flight time, 1,000 Hours multi-engine flight time.

Preferred:

  • Type Rating in aircraft company operates, multi-engine turbine aircraft experience.

Requirements

Required:

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
  • Multi-Engine Rating.
  • Must hold an FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.

Preferred:

  • Type Rating in aircraft company operates, multi-engine turbine aircraft experience.
