DHC-2 Floatplane Captain

Seair Seaplanes is seeking experienced DHC-2 Floatplane Captains to join its operations based in Richmond, British Columbia. This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package and a desirable 4-day work week.

About the Role

The DHC-2 Float Captain will be responsible for scheduled and charter flights along the stunning Southern British Columbia coast. This role requires a dedicated and safety-conscious pilot to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) fixed-wing flight time.
• Minimum 500 hours PIC floatplane flight time.
• Current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Transport Canada approved.
• Float endorsement (SELS).
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a changing environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Strong safety orientation, with the capacity to operate in remote locations.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience operating on the British Columbia coast or with specific DHC-2 floatplane experience.

Qualifications

• DHC-2 type rating is not required for this position.
