Scotiabank Aviation is responsible for the operation of The Bank of Nova Scotia’s privately registered aircraft. The Aviation department currently has the following position available:

OVERALL SUMMARY

A successful candidate will safely and efficiently transport senior executives to destinations anywhere in the world, providing first class customer service while following all regulatory and department requirements, procedures and practices. In addition to corporate pilot duties, responsibilities include but are not limited to trip planning, flight planning, route and destination coordination, passenger support (baggage, cabin service, ground transportation, customs and immigration etc); and other operational support duties as assigned. Proper adherence to Transport Canada and Department policies and procedures is essential.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:

• Must hold current & valid Transport Canada ATP and valid passport and Class 1 medical
• Must have over 4000-5000 flight hours
• Experience on the FA2000 or on other Falcon corporate aircraft desirable
• 2000 hours PIC experience on multi-engine jet business jet desirable
• Experience dealing with Transport Canada and aircraft OEMs desirable
• Shows flexibility and enthusiasm for unstructured schedule
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, works well in a crew and in a small but experienced team environment
• Experience with SMS and QA
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Outlook
• Valid Canadian passport and ability to travel worldwide
• Ability to obtain and retain a GTAA Restricted Area Identity Card
