Direct Entry First Officer

Scoot is seeking a Direct Entry First Officer to join its team at the Singapore Assessment Centre. This role involves collaborating with the Captain to ensure safe, comfortable, and punctual flight operations while enhancing the passenger experience and upholding Scoot's unique service culture. The position offers visa sponsorship.

About the Role

The First Officer will work alongside the Captain to achieve safe, comfortable, and on-time flight performance. This role is integral to the Scoot team, contributing to the delivery of the "Scootitude" experience for all passengers. The operator utilizes a fleet that includes Airbus A320 family aircraft and Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The selection process comprises online aptitude testing, an assessment centre in Singapore with group and individual interviews, followed by a two-day simulator and personality assessment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1,500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time on aeroplanes with an MTMA of 5,700 kg or more.
• Possession of an ICAO CPL(A) or ATPL(A) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.
• Foreign ATPL holders will be required to complete licence conversion, including an instrument rating and a proficiency check with at least six months of validity.
• Demonstrated ability to speak and understand English at a minimum of ICAO Level 4.
• Fulfillment of all vaccination requirements stipulated by CAAS.
