About Scoot and the Role
Scoot distinguishes itself with a youthful, dynamic brand ethos, driven by an inherent passion for travel. The airline cultivates a unique environment where team members demonstrate unwavering dedication and embody the brand's vibrant spirit.
Cadets accepted into the programme will undergo a customized, co-funded training course at a designated training college. Successful completion of this course will equip candidates with either a Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL) or a 'Frozen' ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), marking a significant step towards becoming a Second Officer or Junior First Officer.
Upon graduation from the MPL Cadet Programme, participants will further their development through Scoot’s comprehensive base and line training. This crucial phase ensures they are fully equipped with the requisite skills and knowledge for operational flight duties.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old, as mandated by Air Navigation Order regulations.
- Possess legal eligibility to work in Singapore upon completion of training.
- Attainment of at least five (5) GCE 'O' Level credits, or equivalent, in a single sitting. Required subjects include English, Mathematics, and a Science subject (Physics preferred).
- Eligibility for Class 1 and Class 2 unrestricted medical certification, as approved by the Civil Aviation Medical Board (CAMB).
- Uncorrected visual acuity of at least 6/60, correctable to 6/6, and absence of colour blindness, meeting stringent aviation safety requirements.
- Demonstrated willingness and commitment to fulfill a compulsory bond period.

Training Programme Details
Training Period:
- Successful candidates will undertake a minimum of 18-24 months of consecutive, uninterrupted training.
Training Bond:
- As a co-funded initiative, this program requires successful candidates to enter into a six-year training bond upon completion of the initial 18-24 month training period.
Application and Selection Process
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a series of online aptitude tests. Subsequently, an Assessment Centre will be conducted in October 2025, with invitations extended to selected candidates.
Successful applicants are anticipated to commence training between January and April 2026.
