Role Summary
The Scoot Cadet Pilot Programme is a full-time, co-funded training initiative designed to develop future airline pilots. Successful candidates will undergo an intensive, customised training course, culminating in the attainment of a Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL) or a 'Frozen' ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). This rigorous programme prepares cadets to become Second Officers or Junior First Officers, followed by essential base and line training with Scoot.

Key Responsibilities & Training Highlights
- Participation in a structured 18-24 month comprehensive flight training curriculum at a preferred training college.
- Rigorous development of essential piloting skills, knowledge, and airmanship to meet international aviation standards.
- Progression through foundational and advanced flight phases, leading to MPL or 'Frozen' ICAO ATPL certification.
- Seamless transition into Scoot’s operational environment through dedicated base and line training upon graduation.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years, in compliance with Air Navigation Order regulations.
- Legal entitlement to work in Singapore upon the successful completion of training.
- Achieve at least five Credits in the GCE 'O' Level examination or equivalent, obtained in a single sitting. Required subjects include English, Mathematics, and a Science subject (Physics is preferred).
- Ability to qualify for and maintain Class I & II unrestricted medical certification, as approved by the Civil Aviation Medical Board (CAMB).
- Possess good visual acuity of at least 6/60 without optical aid, correctable to 6/6, and be free from colour blindness to satisfy stringent safety criteria.
- Demonstrated willingness and commitment to serve a compulsory bond period post-training.

Training Duration & Commitment

A dedicated Assessment Centre is scheduled for October 2025, with invitations extended to selected candidates. Successful applicants are expected to commence their training between January and April 2026.
