Cadets will participate in a customized, co-funded training course at a preferred training college. Upon successful completion, graduates will receive a Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL) or 'Frozen' ICAO ATPL, marking a significant step towards becoming a Second Officer/Junior First Officer.

Graduates of the MPL Cadet Programme will undergo Scoot's base and line training, ensuring they possess the essential skills and knowledge required for flight operations.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18 years (as required by regulations in Air Navigation Order).
  • Legally entitled to work in Singapore upon completion of training.
  • Minimum GCE 'O' level with at least 5 Credits at one sitting, including English, Mathematics, and a Science subject, preferably Physics.
  • Must qualify for Class I & II unrestricted medical certification as approved by the Civil Aviation Medical Board (CAMB).
  • Good visual acuity of at least 6/60 without optical aid, correctable to 6/6, and not colour blind to meet safety requirements.
  • Willingness and commitment to serve a compulsory bond period.

Training Period:

Successful candidates will be required to commit to a minimum period of 18-24 months of consecutive training.

Training Bond:

This is a co-funded program, and successful candidates will be required to enter a training bond for a period of 6 years after the 18-24 months of training period.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a series of online aptitude tests. An Assessment Centre will be conducted in April 2025, and selected candidates will be invited to attend.

Successful applicants are expected to commence training within June to December 2025.
