Citation XLS+ Second-in-Command (SIC) - Carlsbad, CA

Schubach Aviation, a Part 91/135 Charter and Aircraft Management Company, is seeking a qualified and motivated Second-in-Command (SIC) for a full-time position on a 2022 Citation XLS+. This position is based in Carlsbad, California, with an immediate start date.

The ideal candidate will be a professional, dynamic, and experienced individual with a strong team-player attitude, ready to contribute to a busy operation with a diverse aircraft fleet.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1000 hours total flight time
• 500 hours SIC time
• 500 hours multi-engine land (MEL) time
• 150 hours instrument time
• 100 hours turbine engine time
• Ability to pass PRIA/FAA NATA background check and drug and alcohol screening
• Must be based or willing to relocate within a one-hour drive of the Carlsbad, CA area
• Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and excellent customer relation skills
• No violations or at-fault accidents

Additional Information:

• This SIC position is dedicated full-time to a single aircraft.
• Jet experience is preferred.
• A competitive salary will be offered, commensurate with experience.
• An XLS type rating is preferred but not required.
• Schubach Aviation is willing to type-rate the right candidate.
