Key Responsibilities
Pilots at SAS are responsible for the safe, sustainable, and punctual operation of Embraer E195 aircraft, adhering to all regulatory requirements and company procedures. This includes:
- Operating flights across a diverse network, including challenging environments and busy airspaces.
- Ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism in all aspects of flight operations.
- Working collaboratively as part of a crew dedicated to providing excellent service to travelers.
- Contributing to the transformation towards more sustainable aviation practices.

Minimum Requirements
Prospective candidates must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Hold an unrestricted EASA ATPL (A).
- Possess a valid Medical Certificate Class 1.
- Hold a valid Instrument Rating.
- Demonstrate ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or 6.
- Meet a minimum height requirement of 157 cm.
- Possess the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union.
Flight Time Requirements
Candidates must fulfil one of the following flight hour requirements:
- 4,000 total flight hours, including 250 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Pilot in Command Under Supervision (PICUS).
or
- 3,500 total flight hours, including 500 hours as PIC on aircraft with an MTOW greater than 16 tonnes.
or
- 3,000 total flight hours, including 1,000 hours as PIC on aircraft with an MTOW greater than 16 tonnes.
