Job Overview

Safran Aircraft Engines is seeking an experienced Industrialization & Methods Pilot to join their team. This role is responsible for developing the capacity and industrial performance of the engine maintenance shop, improving the financial performance of shop visits, and piloting industrialization procedures for disassembly, assembly, cleaning, inspection, and repair. The position also involves piloting the specification, commissioning, and qualification of industrial means required for maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop shop capacity and industrial performance for engine maintenance.
• Improve the financial performance of shop visits.
• Pilot industrialization of disassembly/assembly, cleaning, inspection, and repair procedures in compliance with safety, quality, cost, and TAT objectives.
• Pilot the specification, commissioning, and qualification of industrial means for maintenance procedures.
• Ensure product maintainability and reparability through concurrent engineering.
• Set up necessary means for disassembly, assembly, cleaning, inspection, and repair of parts and modules.
• Pilot deliverables during the industrialization phase, including validation, revision, capability lists, and DVE/DVR.
• Define rooters and select required means.
• Identify required investment and pilot their installation.
• Guarantee first-time yield (FTY) performance, recurrent costs, and cycle time.
• Ensure the industrialization package is deployable across the network, considering each shop's available processes and means.
• Conduct technological monitoring on means and maintenance methods.
• Develop, write, and ensure the update of job cards/routers in accordance with OEM technical publications (IPC, ESM, SB, SPM, etc.).

Qualifications and Requirements

• Industrial methods engineer background.
• Fluent in technical English.
• Minimum education level: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• Minimum experience level: More than 5 years.
• Additional preferred language: English (Fluent).
