Job Overview
Safran Aircraft Engines seeks a highly skilled and experienced Industrialization & Methods Pilot to join its team in Hyderabad, India. This critical role is instrumental in developing and enhancing the industrial capacity and overall performance of the engine maintenance shop. The incumbent will be responsible for improving the financial outcomes of shop visits and meticulously piloting the industrialization of disassembly, assembly, cleaning, inspection, and repair procedures. Adherence to stringent safety regulations, quality standards, cost targets, and turnaround time (TAT) objectives is paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive improvements in the industrial capacity and performance of the engine maintenance shop.
- Enhance the financial performance associated with each shop visit.
- Oversee and guide the industrialization of disassembly/assembly, cleaning, inspection, and repair processes, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cost, and TAT objectives.
- Lead the specification, commissioning, and qualification of industrial means and equipment essential for executing maintenance procedures.
- Ensure product maintainability and reparability through concurrent engineering principles.
- Establish the necessary resources for the disassembly/assembly, cleaning, inspection, and repair of parts and modules.
- Manage and deliver key industrialization phase documentation, including validation, revisions, capability lists, and DVE/DVR.
- Define root causes and select appropriate resources and equipment.
- Identify and manage investment requirements for industrial means, overseeing their installation and commissioning.
- Guarantee First Time Yield (FTY) performance, control recurrent costs, and optimize cycle times.
- Ensure the scalability and deployability of the industrialization package across the network's shops, considering their unique processes and available means.
- Conduct continuous technological monitoring of industrial means and maintenance methodologies.
- Develop, author, and maintain job cards/routers in strict accordance with OEM technical publications (IPC, ESM, SB, SPM, etc.).
Candidate Requirements
- A proven background as an Industrial Methods Engineer.
- Fluent command of technical English.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- More than 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Additional proficiency in English is highly preferred.
