About the Role

STA Jets is seeking an experienced Citation X Second-in-Command (SIC) / First Officer (FO) for a full-time position based in the SNA area, specifically Costa Mesa, California. This role involves operating the Citation X aircraft, adhering to a 10-days-on, 10-days-off roster, and upholding the company's commitment to safety, passenger satisfaction, and team collaboration.

Requirements

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with a multi-engine land rating (ATP Unrestricted or ATP Restricted).
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Residence within a 1.5-hour drive of KSNA.
• Substantial experience requirements include:
  • 2,500 hours of total pilot time.
  • 1,000 hours of fixed-wing multi-engine Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
  • 500 hours of total multi-engine time.
  • 250 PIC hours in type (Citation X).
• Must meet eligibility requirements under Part 61.159 or the restricted-ATP provisions of Part 61.160, if applicable.
• Completion of an approved ATP CTP course.
• Minimum three years of verifiable work history.
• U.S. residency or valid U.S. work authorization.
• Availability to start and awareness of the closest major airport for airline travel.
