Skydata, New Hampshire's fastest-growing drone inspection company, seeks three skilled and motivated Remote Pilots to join its expanding team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with cutting-edge remote sensing technology on challenging and high-profile inspection projects across the region.
The Role:
As a Remote Pilot, you will be responsible for safely operating DJI Matrice 300 and Mavic 3 Enterprise drones, capturing high-quality inspection data, and ensuring its secure transfer for processing. You will work both independently and as part of a team, adhering to strict safety protocols and FAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute drone missions to acquire precise inspection data.
- Complete on-site inspection reports and manage data for processing.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of FAA drone regulations and safety procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
- Proven experience operating DJI Mavic or similar multi-rotor drones
- Comprehensive knowledge of drone safety protocols and risk assessment
- Valid driver's license and relevant insurance
- Ability to travel to regional areas as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial drone operations, particularly in asset inspection or surveying
- Familiarity with data uploading and transfer methods
- Restricted Radiotelephone Operator's License (RR)
- Senior First Aid certification
- Proficiency in drone mapping and photogrammetry software
