Pilot / First Officer
SAS Scandinavian Airlines is actively seeking highly motivated and qualified aviation professionals to join its esteemed flight crew as a Pilot or First Officer. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- License Requirements: Candidates must hold a valid EASA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), or Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL). Essential endorsements include Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC), Multi-Engine (ME), and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT). Non-Scandinavian EASA licenses are acceptable; however, conversion will be a prerequisite before the commencement of training.
- Medical Certification: Possession of a current and valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- English Language Proficiency: An ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher is required.
- Type Rating: A specific type rating is not required for this position, as comprehensive and industry-leading training will be provided by SAS Scandinavian Airlines.
- Right to Work: Applicants must possess an unrestricted legal right to live and work within the European Union.
- Background and Security Checks: All prospective employees are required to successfully undergo a thorough background check, a personal security interview, and a mandatory drug and alcohol test. These assessments will be conducted in the designated base city prior to employment.
- Criminal Record: Candidates must maintain a clean criminal record.
