Minimum Requirements for Pilot Candidates
Flight Experience and Licensing
- Flight Time Notes: Candidates must possess a minimum of 500 hours flight time logged on CS-25 certified large aeroplane categories.
- Type Rating: A Type Rating is not required, as successful candidates will receive the necessary training during the induction process.
- License Requirement: Applicants must hold a valid EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL-A), Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL-A), or Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL). Non-Scandinavian EASA licenses are accepted but must be converted prior to the commencement of the training course.
- Specific Qualifications: Essential certifications include Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Engine (ME), Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC), and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT).
- Medical Certification: A current EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- English Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher.
