SAS Scandinavian Airlines is seeking Direct Entry Captains for its growing Embraer E195 fleet, offering permanent contracts and opportunities to fly an expanding international network. This role is based in Copenhagen, Oslo, Bergen, or Stockholm.

About the Role

SAS Scandinavian Airlines is recruiting Direct Entry Captains for its Embraer E195 fleet to support significant fleet growth and an extensive summer program. The role involves serving as Pilot-in-Command on the Embraer E195-E2, operating a varied short- and medium-haul network. Pilots will experience demanding operations, from Nordic winters to busy international airspace, with potential career progression to the A320, A330, or A350 aircraft.

Requirements

• Hold an unrestricted EASA ATPL(A) or equivalent acceptable licence (EASA CPL(A) or MPL).
• Possess a valid Class 1 medical certificate.
• Hold a valid instrument rating.
• Achieve ICAO English proficiency Level 5 or 6.
• Have the unrestricted right to live and work in the EU.
• Provide a clean criminal record.
• Meet one of the following flight-time pathways:
  • 4,000 total flight hours, including 250 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) or PIC Under Supervision (PICUS).
  • 3,500 total flight hours, including 500 hours as PIC on aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) greater than 16 tonnes.
  • 3,000 total flight hours, including 1,000 hours as PIC on aircraft with an MTOW greater than 16 tonnes.
• All requirements must be fully met, and all licences must be valid at the time of application.

• EASA CPL(A) (Commercial Pilot Licence - Aeroplane)
• MPL (Multi-Crew Pilot Licence)
• Valid Class 1 Medical
• Valid Instrument Rating
• ICAO English proficiency Level 5 or 6
