Assistant Chief Flight Instructor (ACFI) – Airbus
SAS Scandinavia is currently seeking two qualified and motivated Assistant Chief Flight Instructors (ACFI) to join our Airbus training organization. This pivotal role supports the Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) in maintaining rigorous training standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding operational continuity within SAS Crew Training.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a qualified instructor on the relevant Airbus aircraft type.

Provide comprehensive support to the CFI across all operational and training-related matters.

Deputize for the Chief Flight Instructor during periods of absence, such as vacation or leave.

Maintain expert knowledge of all relevant documentation, including OM-D, ATO manuals, and associated training materials.

Evaluate type-related training programs, including LIFUS, and propose continuous improvements.

Assist STOOL and MFTS with relevant operational matters.

Participate in formal meetings as directed by the NP Crew Training and the Head of Training.
Candidate Requirements
Professional Qualifications:

Must be a qualified instructor on a SAS-relevant Airbus aircraft type.

Proven instructional experience within an EASA ATO environment.

Capability to assume full CFI responsibilities when required.

Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language.

Proficiency in standard IT tools, including Microsoft Office.

Role Composition:
75% administrative duties, 25% pilot duties.
