About the Role
SPGE provides cross-commodity industry fundamentals training to energy majors and top chemical producers globally. This role will contribute to the winning, renewal, and execution of global energy-related training projects. Projects leverage S&P Global Energy data, research, and expertise, covering topics such as industry fundamentals, price forecasting, and trading strategies.
The successful candidate will develop and deliver high-quality training courses, originate and produce training materials, and manage resources. This position offers exposure to market leaders globally and experts within major oil and gas and chemical companies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver state-of-the-art training in collaboration with lead content matter experts.
- Participate in client meetings to understand training requirements.
- Identify internal and external information sources, gather, and synthesize data.
- Analyze data efficiently to produce training materials.
- Produce and present training materials to clients.
- Follow up regarding further training needs.
What We're Looking For
- Experience within the energy industry and a deep understanding of the oil & gas value chain.
- An engineering background is required.
- Fluency in both French and English is essential, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- An analytical frame of mind with the ability to use data to support opinions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, providing ideas and open feedback.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20-40% of the time, with potential for more for specific projects.
- Citizens of Nigeria and other ECOWAS member states are welcome; selection is subject to verification of citizenship and work eligibility.
