The Role of the Cabin Crew Member
The primary responsibility of the Cabin Crew member is to ensure the highest standards of safety and deliver top-class customer service to all guests. While the position is fun and highly rewarding, it is a demanding role where absolute adherence to safety protocols is the number one priority.
The position requires significant flexibility regarding working hours. Crew members operate demanding shift rosters, which include both early and late duties. Candidates must be prepared to report for duty as early as 5:00 am on early shifts and may not return home until midnight on afternoon shifts.
Career Development and Training
Successful candidates will commence their journey on an internationally recognized, intensive 6-week training course. This comprehensive program covers all fundamental skills necessary for the role, emphasizing safety, emergency procedures, and customer experience delivery. The training structure includes regular examinations, culminating in Supernumerary flights before the official awarding of Cabin Crew Wings.

Candidate Requirements
Prospective Cabin Crew members must fulfill the following mandatory criteria:
- Must hold the unrestricted right to live and work within the European Union (EU) and be able to travel freely throughout the entire Ryanair network.
- Must be within the height range of approximately 157 cm (5’2”) and 188 cm (6’2”).
- Must be able to swim 25 meters unaided.
- Must demonstrate excellent fluency in written and spoken English.
- Candidates should possess an outgoing, friendly personality, coupled with flexibility and adaptability regarding shift work.
- A demonstrable ability to provide outstanding customer service with a proactive ‘can do’ attitude is essential.
- A strong passion for air travel and interacting with the public is highly advantageous.
