Position Overview

The Group is currently seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join its established cabin crew family of over 16,000 personnel. This is an entry-level position that requires high enthusiasm and strong team spirit; previous aviation experience is not a prerequisite. Successful candidates will commence their roles during the upcoming Autumn/Winter season, operating from one of the Group's 90+ operational bases.

Key Responsibilities and the Role

Life as a Cabin Crew member is highly rewarding and dynamic. However, it is an inherently demanding role where safety is the number one priority. The successful candidate will be required to operate as a vital member of the team onboard Ryanair Group aircraft, ensuring a top-class safety and customer service experience for all guests.

The position requires adaptability regarding scheduling. Crew members operate a demanding shift roster, including both early and late duties. Early roster duties may require reporting for duty as early as 5:00 am, and late roster duties may result in returning home as late as midnight.

Training and Professional Development

The journey to becoming a fully qualified Cabin Crew member begins with a comprehensive six-week training course. This course is provided free of charge and leads to an internationally recognised qualification. Trainees will acquire all fundamental skills required for the day-to-day role, involving regular studies and examinations.

Training culminates in Supernumerary flights, followed by the official awarding of Cabin Crew Wings.

Candidate Profile and Essential Requirements

Applicants must possess the following mandatory qualifications and attributes:

  • Must hold the unrestricted right to live and work within the European Union (EU) and possess the ability to travel freely throughout the Ryanair network.
  • Must be approximately between 5' 2" (157 cm) and 6' 2" (188 cm) in height.
  • Must be able to swim 25 metres unaided.
  • Must demonstrate comfortable proficiency in speaking and writing in English.
  • Must be hardworking, flexible, and possess an outgoing and friendly personality.
  • Must be adaptable and willing to work a shift roster, including unsocial hours.
  • Must enjoy dealing with the public and demonstrate the ability to provide excellent customer service supported by a 'can do' attitude.
  • Must have a genuine passion for travelling and meeting new people.
